After we put out a call for vendors on instagram, we will wait one week to collect all of the inquiries before even opening the messages.
This is for our own personal space, and also to allow everyone to be responded to at the same time.
Previous no-call-no-shows, previous rule-breakers, resellers, anything that cannot be sold on the streets or in public, and a number of other factors assist us in choosing who we have to deny.
We start off with a handful of vendors that we know and trust, folks that we won't have to give as much attention to at set-up time. When we have 40 street vendors to set-up, this is a big deal.
Remaining vendor contenders are chosen RANDOMLY. We started this late last year.
It relieves stress from us deciding who gets in, and we believe it to be fair.
BUT, if you were DENIED the last time, please let us know when you apply NEXT time, and we will either put you in, or provide a reason why we didn't.
HOWEVER, please allow us time to respond. We will respond to MYMM related messages once per day, so please don't be distraught if we don't respond right away, even if you can see that we are on instagram currently. We leave messages unread so we know to get back to them.
REMINDER: This is a FREE MARKET.
